Pinhook Bourbon was established in 2014 and has quickly found its place in the hearts of whiskey lovers across the globe. Lovingly handcrafted in Kentucky, the whiskey is made at the restored Castley & Key Distillery in Frankfort. The brand's uniqueness comes down to its three distinctive characteristics: its limited availability, mass appeal, and strong ties to Kentucky’s legacy of horse racing. Each release of Pinhook Bourbon is named after a thoroughbred owned by Bourbon Lane Stable. The Collaboration Series has Pinhook Master Blender Sean Josephs collaborate with luminaries from various sensory-oriented fields. For the second release, they teamed up with Garrett Oliver, a brewer with 3 decades of experience under his belt. The brewmaster of Brooklyn Brewery and 2014 James Beard Award Winner helped them craft a high-proof bourbon with a high-rye mash bill. The whiskey spent 4 years maturing in new casks in the Texas heat before being bottled at 118.9 proof. Only 3,500 bottles of whiskey that was distilled at Still Austin were produced. 65% of Pinhook's profits from this release will go to the Michael J. Jackson Foundation for Brewing and Distilling.

For wine, we recommend storing bottles on their side in a dark, vibration-free environment with good humidity, ideally between 55-60°F. Spirits like whiskey should be stored upright in a cool, dark place (60-70°F) away from direct sunlight to preserve their quality.
