A Chinon that been moulded by the Loire's alluvial deposits and the Vienne's gravel in the area surrounding Savigny-en-Véron. After steeping the uncrushed grapes, the must is gently raised to 25°C to release its primary aromas. This vintage's nose give us floral and fruity aromas that are very crisp and more specifically with notes of violet and raspberry. The palate has very supple tannins and the crispness of the fruit takes precedence.

Aromas of violet, spring flowers and dark wild berries preface the 2022 Chinon Les Barnabés, a moderately weighted, juicy and enveloping wine with a seamless, enveloping texture that segues into a delicate finish thanks to velvety tannins. For wine, we recommend storing bottles on their side in a dark, vibration-free environment with good humidity, ideally between 55-60°F. Spirits like whiskey should be stored upright in a cool, dark place (60-70°F) away from direct sunlight to preserve their quality.
