This satisfyingly complex Single Malt, matured at The Macallan distillery for a minimum of 25 years is characterised by its rich colour, aroma and flavour with hints of dried fruits, spice and chocolate orange.

The 25 year old Sherry Oak from Macallan is one of the most sought after whiskies in the world.

This is the 2018 release and was the first following the rebranding of the Macallan core range in 2018. This is joined by the classic 12, 18 and 30 year old age statements in the Sherry Oak Cask range.

"The Macallan 25 year old Sherry Oak forms part of our Sherry Oak range which features a series of single malt whiskies matured in exceptional sherry seasoned oak casks from Jerez for richness and complexity. This special single malt delivers an intensely rich and full flavour character, citrus, dried fruits and wood smoke.

This distinguished single malt is matured exclusively for twenty-five years in Oloroso sherry seasoned oak casks from Jerez, Spain. Laying undisturbed in the same casks for a quarter of a century, the maturing spirit transforms to create this luxurious single malt whisky characterised by its rich flavours of vanilla, dried fruits and ginger spice with a long finish and rich mahogany colour."

Depending on the bottle and destination, we use a combination of insulated foam box inserts, custom-fit air column bags, and heavy-weight cardboard shippers to prevent damage. For wine, we recommend storing bottles on their side in a dark, vibration-free environment with good humidity, ideally between 55-60°F. Spirits like whiskey should be stored upright in a cool, dark place (60-70°F) away from direct sunlight to preserve their quality.
