La Tierra de Acre Mezcal Cenizo is harvested from the wild and has a medium nose and complex taste with a light, smooth finish. The flavor contains spicy, peppery notes with an earthy texture and even a slightly lactic smell.
La Tierra de Acre Cenizo is produced with Agave durangensis in Nombre de Dios, Durango. Maestro mezcalero Jorge Burciaga mills his agave by hand with an axe, ferments with spring water, and double distills in a copper still.
La Tierra de Acre Mezcal began as a bootleg operation in 2017 (originally called Acre Mezcal), tucked away in the foothills of San Jose del Cabo at Acre Baja, a lush sanctuary set on 25 acres of greenery. The brand is related to the Acre Baja resort, which features elegant treehouses, organic farms, private event spaces, and an award-winning bar and restaurant.

All shipments require an adult signature on delivery. Please make sure an adult 21 or older will be available to sign for your package. We recommend shipping to a business address when possible.
