Katharina Wechsler’s enviable Rheinhessen vineyard holdings are in what may be today’s most famous dry Riesling area (mostly thanks to local luminaries, Klaus-Peter Keller, and Philipp Wittman). This 2022 Trocken Riesling is one of her entry level wines, but it's not lacking in flavor or complexity. This dry Riesling is elegant, aromatic and bright with tasting notes of petrol, white flowers, crips apple and tart acidity on the finish. Her vineyards are also certified organic as of their 2021 harvest and she began to implement biodynamic practices in 2020.

Depending on the bottle and destination, we use a combination of insulated foam box inserts, custom-fit air column bags, and heavy-weight cardboard shippers to prevent damage. For wine, we recommend storing bottles on their side in a dark, vibration-free environment with good humidity, ideally between 55-60°F. Spirits like whiskey should be stored upright in a cool, dark place (60-70°F) away from direct sunlight to preserve their quality.
