The older of the Karuizawa Ruby Geisha pair – the penultimate release in the Karuizawa Geisha series – this 38-year-old whisky was matured in a sherry butt and shows off the classic character of the lost Japanese distilleries famed whiskies: a careful balance of sweet and savoury notes, run through with dark oak and spice.

For wine, we recommend storing bottles on their side in a dark, vibration-free environment with good humidity, ideally between 55-60°F. Spirits like whiskey should be stored upright in a cool, dark place (60-70°F) away from direct sunlight to preserve their quality.
