Kamen Kashmir Moon Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon 2021
Kashmir exemplifies the very best of the estate’s Cabernet Sauvignon. Kept separately throughout the winemaking process, the lots for the final cuvée that are hand-selected by our winemaker are only produced in years he feels are an exceptional representation of the vintage and estate.
Critical Acclaim
97 Vinous
The 2018 Kashmir is a heady, unctuous Cabernet Sauvignon. Even with all of its raciness, the 2018 comes across as impeccably balanced in this style and not at all overdone. Jammy dark fruit, chocolate, spice, lavender and sweet French oak build effortlessly in the glass. Kashmir is a rich, heady Cabernet - there is no doubt about that - but it is also less pushed than most previous editions, with a sense of proportion that is notable.

This large-scaled wine offers up waves of warmed plum sauce, blackberry compote and black Mission fig paste flavors carried by ample graphite and a cast iron-accented structure. The fruit drips over the frame though, easily absorbing it, while violet, melted licorice and ganache accents fill in on the finish. Impressive combo of heft and cut.
