This flagship whisky was first introduced in 2021 and officially named The Draam in 2025. The unique six-cask recipe created by Master Distiller, Alasdair Day, remains unchanged. The same whisky we all know and love has a new name to define it and help you find it on the back bar.

Two Isle of Raasay spirits – peated and unpeated – are matured separately in first fill American Rye whiskey, fresh Chinkapin oak and Bordeaux red wine casks.

These six recipe casks marry together to create the perfect dram with real elegance, complexity and depth of character. Every drop of spirit is distilled, matured and bottled on the Isle of Raasay using water from our 60m well onsite. 

When we set out to create the first legal Scotch whisky on the Isle of Raasay, our Master Distiller, Alasdair Day, looked to the older styles of Hebridean whiskies, laden with dark, fruit flavours and heather smoke. Combining tradition and modernity, our single malt encompasses the very best of new-wave whisky making.

A long maturation of 3-5 days creates those iconic dark fruit flavours, and our six-cask maturation process allows for each cask to impart their full flavours onto the spirit. Authentically, unapologetically, Raasay.

We source our products exclusively from reputable, licensed importers, distributors, wine brokers, and world-renowned auction houses such as Sotheby's and Christie's. We also acquire bottles from select private collections where clear and documented provenance is provided, ensuring a verifiable history for our finest items.

Yes, in most cases, the photograph on the product page is of the specific bottle for sale. If we have multiple quantities of the same item, the photo represents the general condition of all bottles under that SKU. Any significant condition issues, such as low ullage or bin-stained labels, will be clearly noted in the product description. We are happy to provide additional high-resolution images upon request-please contact us.

We use premium, industry-standard materials to protect every shipment. Depending on the bottle and destination, we use a combination of insulated foam box inserts, custom-fit air column bags, and heavy-weight cardboard shippers to prevent damage. For added peace of mind, we offer shipping protection against loss or damage at checkout through OrderProtection.com.

For wine, we recommend storing bottles on their side in a dark, vibration-free environment with good humidity, ideally between 55-60°F. Spirits like whiskey should be stored upright in a cool, dark place (60-70°F) away from direct sunlight to preserve their quality.

We accept all major credit cards, PayPal, Apple Pay, and Google Pay. We also offer flexible payment options through Shop Pay Installments and Sezzle. For customers interested in using cryptocurrency, we accept BTC, ETH, XRP, USDC, and more through Coinbase Commerce.

  • Expedited Shipping (2-Day/Next Day Air): Orders placed before 12:00 PM Pacific Time are processed the same day.

Yes. During periods of extreme heat, we include complimentary ice packs in our insulated shippers. However, to fully protect your investment, we strongly recommend selecting an overnight shipping service in these conditions. We can also hold your shipment at no charge for up to one year upon request.
