Gianfranco Bovio Barolo Arborina 2019

The Barolo Arborina by Bovio Gianfranco is produced with Nebbiolo grapes that come from the “Arborina” cru on the La Morra hills. This wine has a great ruby red color with oranges reflexes. The bouquet has complex scents, with red fruits and spiced notes, with hay and herb aromas on the final. The taste is elegant and full, with important tannins that gives to it persistence and structure. This wine is equilibrate and persistent and it is perfect if drunk with second red meat courses, game and aging cheeses. The Barolo Arborina by Bovio Gianfranco is a wine perfect for meditation.

The 2019 Barolo Arborina shows all of the nervy tannin that is such a signature of this La Morra site. Crushed red berry fruit, spice, dried rose petal and incense are all nicely put together in this mid-weight Barolo. Clean mineral notes extend the finish. Give this a few years to soften.

Yes. During periods of extreme heat, we include complimentary ice packs in our insulated shippers. However, to fully protect your investment, we strongly recommend selecting an overnight shipping service in these conditions. We can also hold your shipment at no charge for up to one year upon request.
