Concentrated purple with ruby edges. A powerful nose of crushed blackberry, huckleberry, cassis, dried thyme, sage, and cedar. Lush on the palate, with smooth, velvety tannins. The opulence of the texture is balanced by the ripe black plums, woodsy herbs, and toasty oak flavors. An ideal wine for a fall stew, grilled sausages, or roasted mushrooms. Composed of 58% Merlot, 34% Cabernet Sauvignon, 4% Cabernet Franc, and 4% Petit Verdot, the wine offers a delicious trek through the Columbia Valley’s most acclaimed Washington appellations. Upchurch maximizes his grapes’ potential and elicits further complexity by aging the wine for 18 months in 55% new French oak.

Yes, in most cases, the photograph on the product page is of the specific bottle for sale. If we have multiple quantities of the same item, the photo represents the general condition of all bottles under that SKU. Any significant condition issues, such as low ullage or bin-stained labels, will be clearly noted in the product description. We use premium, industry-standard materials to protect every shipment. Depending on the bottle and destination, we use a combination of insulated foam box inserts, custom-fit air column bags, and heavy-weight cardboard shippers to prevent damage. For added peace of mind, we offer shipping protection against loss or damage at checkout through OrderProtection.com.

For wine, we recommend storing bottles on their side in a dark, vibration-free environment with good humidity, ideally between 55-60°F. Spirits like whiskey should be stored upright in a cool, dark place (60-70°F) away from direct sunlight to preserve their quality.

Yes. During periods of extreme heat, we include complimentary ice packs in our insulated shippers. However, to fully protect your investment, we strongly recommend selecting an overnight shipping service in these conditions.
