Lagavulin 12 Year Old Islay single malt Scotch whisky. Double matured in Don Julio Anejo Tequila casks bottled for the Diageo Special Releases 2023 series entitled "Spirited Xchange" The Ink of Legends. 

Amid fierce glints of gold, fresh notes of sea air, citrus and ripened berries mingle with intense herbal smoke in an enchanted swirl of heady aromas, while the creamy-smooth and robust texture plays the perfect canvas to a rich palette of swirling flavours. Sweet with juicy plums and a hint of saltiness, then ever more herbal and smokier, the flavours deep-etch their impression for a lip-tingling whisky of legends. Serving Suggestion: The distinctively spicy, dry & clean taste makes an exceptional cocktail such as Julep or Old Fashioned.

Depending on the bottle and destination, we use a combination of insulated foam box inserts, custom-fit air column bags, and heavy-weight cardboard shippers to prevent damage. For wine, we recommend storing bottles on their side in a dark, vibration-free environment with good humidity, ideally between 55-60°F. Spirits like whiskey should be stored upright in a cool, dark place (60-70°F) away from direct sunlight to preserve their quality.
