This wine is young and rustic. Tannins show strongly, with a barnyard character that will need to disappear for the wine to be drinkable. Underneath, there is some attractive black currant fruit that hopefully will develop. 

One of the stellar regions of the Haut-Médoc, Margaux boasts a host of blue-chip châteaux, dominated by the eponymous First Growth: Château Margaux.

Depending on the bottle and destination, we use a combination of insulated foam box inserts, custom-fit air column bags, and heavy-weight cardboard shippers to prevent damage. For wine, we recommend storing bottles on their side in a dark, vibration-free environment with good humidity, ideally between 55-60°F. Spirits like whiskey should be stored upright in a cool, dark place (60-70°F) away from direct sunlight to preserve their quality.
