Winemaker Notes
The AldenAlli 2018 Chardonnay was sourced from Sierra Madre Vineyard, located in Northern Santa Barbara County near the western edge of the Santa Maria Valley. First planted in 1971, Sierra Madre Vineyard has long been recognized as one of California’s finest cool-climate vineyards.
This wine is light yet complex, and shines with a straw color in the glass. A bright nose invites delicate scents of fresh lemon curd. The nuanced palate balances Meyer lemon with slight pineapple flavors and refreshing minerality. The invigorating mouthfeel of citrus leads into a lengthy finish that echoes each note in harmony.
