Château Schloss Reinhartshausen lies in the central Rheingau in Germany and has been operating as a winery for the past 680 years. The estate specializes in Riesling; its production of this variety is documented back to 1337.
The winery lives by the philosophy that "the narrower the origin of a wine, the higher its quality". This is reflected in the winery's single vineyards, led by the Erbach Schlossberg and Erbach Marcobrunn sites. These are described by the winery as their Icons.
