Glengyle Distillery is a single malt Scotch whisky producer based in Campbeltown, Scotland, revived in 2004 by the Mitchell family, who also operate the neighboring Springbank Distillery. All whisky is released under the Kilkerran name, drawn from the historic name of the Campbeltown area. The core range centers on the Kilkerran 12 Year Old and Kilkerran 16 Year Old, both matured in a combination of bourbon and sherry casks. Cask strength releases include the Kilkerran 8 Year Old Sherry Matured expressions, bottled at natural strength across multiple annual batches.
