Ornellaia is a Bolgheri estate on Tuscany's Maremma coast producing Super Tuscan wines from Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and Petit Verdot grown in maritime-influenced clay and sandy soils. The flagship Ornellaia, available across multiple vintages including 2010, 2017, 2019, 2020, and 2021, is aged in French oak barriques for approximately eighteen months before further bottle aging. Masseto 2021, produced from a single Merlot-planted hillside plot within the estate, is vinified and aged separately as its own bottling.
