Tanqueray

Tanqueray is a London Dry Gin distillery founded in 1830 by Charles Tanqueray in the Bloomsbury district of London, now produced at Cameron Bridge in Scotland. The house recipe centers on four botanicals - juniper, coriander, angelica root, and liquorice - distilled in a pot still. The inventory here spans several decades of the Special Dry Gin, with vintage bottlings from the 1960s, 1970s, and 1980s representing the gin as it existed before modern reformulations, including an original-release Tanqueray Malacca Gin from the 1990s, a sweeter, lower-proof expression discontinued shortly after launch. The Tanqueray Negroni Cocktail rounds out the range as a pre-batched format built on the core gin. The Malacca bottlings represent the rarest material, while the vintage Special Dry expressions document the distillery's defining style across multiple production eras.
