Samaroli is an independent Italian bottler founded in 1968, sourcing casks from distilleries across Scotland and rum-producing regions of the Caribbean to release spirits under its own label with minimal intervention. The house philosophy favors natural cask strength or gentle dilution, preserving distillery character rather than homogenizing it. Scotch expressions range from the approachable Ardenistle Blended Malt to single cask Magnifico releases drawn from storied distilleries - a 1994 Macallan finished in sherry, a 1996 Springbank, and a 2001 Bowmore alongside an Ardmore Highland bottling. Caribbean rum offerings, including the 2006 Barbados expression, reflect the same sourcing rigor applied outside Scotland. The entry-level Samaroli Blended Malt and Caribbean Rum contrast sharply with the age-dated Magnifico single casks, where rarity and provenance define each bottle's significance.
