Production relies on partially peated malt, with peat sourced from Hobbister Moor on Orkney, and maturation in a combination of sherry-seasoned European and American oak casks. The range opens with Magnus and the 12 Year Old Single Malt before stepping through the 15 Year Old Viking Heart and 18 Year Old into rarer territory. The 25 Year Old, 30 Year Old, and Cask Strength Release No. 2 represent the upper register, with the Single Malts of Scotland An Orkney Distillery 12 Year 2009 offering an independent bottling perspective on the same spirit.
