The Glenlivet is a single malt Scotch whisky distillery founded in 1824 in the Livet valley of Speyside, Scotland, operating as the first legally licensed distillery in the Scottish Highlands. Production draws on soft local spring water and double distillation through copper pot stills, yielding the house character that defines expressions across the range. The Founders Reserve anchors the entry point, while the Nadurra series presents unfiltered, cask-strength releases including the Nadurra 16 Year Old and the Oloroso Matured expression finished in Oloroso sherry casks. The 15 Year Old French Oak brings secondary maturation in French limousin oak, and the 18 Year Old combines first-fill American and European oak. The Glenlivet XXV 25 Year Old and the rare 1983 French Oak Finish Cellar Collection represent the distillery's most extended aging commitments.
