Dominus Estate is a Napa Valley winery founded by Christian Moueix, the Bordeaux négociant behind Pétrus, on the historic Napanook vineyard in Yountville. The estate produces Cabernet Sauvignon-dominant red blends from that single vineyard, which has been farmed continuously since the 1830s. The flagship Dominus Napa Valley, with vintages including 2006, 2008, 2017, and 2019, draws on the oldest blocks of the property and undergoes aging in French oak barriques. Napanook, represented here in the 2016, 2020, and 2021 vintages, serves as the estate's second wine, sourced from younger vines on the same property.
