This "I-prefix" numbered bottle is from 2007 and although it's age stated 13 years, the whiskey inside is actually 19 years old and distilled at Cream of Kentucky and Medley.
Known to enthusiasts as "tanked rye" because these specific barrels were dumped and immediately placed into stainless steel holding tanks by Julian Van Winkle III in 2004. He pulled them from oak and put them in stainless to preserve flavor because he felt they reached "peak maturity" at that point.
