1991 Dunn Howell Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon

This wine was absolutely stunning. Decant and drank with food over 3 hours. Really came alive after an hour in the decanter. Deep, dark red, with bricking on the edges. Pencil shavings, earth, tobacco and walnuts on the nose. A sweet floral note between it all. In the mouth, this wine is so concentrated and dense. The fruit flavor was so pure and cascading, a toasty blueberry liqueur, chocolate, and spice box. Slight tannic grip, but a more noticeable minerally acidity. Unbelievable, really, for its concentration of flavor and impeccable balance.
