Wenzel Wild + Free Voodoo Child Pinot Gris 2019
A White wine from Burgenland, Weinland, Austria. It is made from Pinot Gris.
Super fun color, although this is a pure Pinot Gris, we have almost a rosé here due to the fermentation of the mash. Baked red summer apple, raspberry, and strawberry aromas. Very aromatic, spicy, and playful. Potent and powerful on the palate, also a lot of redberry fruit, currant, and wild strawberry, everything runs along the wonderfully soft but freshness-giving acid trail. Delicate tannins are gripping, with some bitter orange and grapefruit.
A beautiful, harmonious Pinot Gris, which gets very animating.
