Raramuri Sotol Joven 750ml
The Rarámuri are an indigenous people group native to the state of Chihuahua in northern Mexico. The Raramuri are known for their ability to run long distances. Literally translated, Rarámuri also means “those who run fast”. Sotol Rémari
is made from the wild Dasylirion Wheeleri, which takes 12 to 15 years to mature. The hearts of the plant are cooked in pit ovens over mesquite and oak wood for three to four days, then fermented and distilled twice in copper stills. The result is a fresh, aromatic Sotol with a delicate smoky note.
