2013 Domaine Glantenay Chambolle Musigny

Aromas of ripe dark fruit, notably blackcurrants and cherries, exude from the glass. Woody, spicy notes give way to a fresh, fruity palate. It is a delicate and high quality wine.

Les Feusselottes is a sizeable Premier Cru climat of Chambolle-Musigny located around the graveyard just outside the village itself. It lies in the center of the appellation, roughly equidistant between the two Grand Cru sites of Bonnes-Mares to the north and Musigny to the south. The vineyard is planted entirely to Pinot Noir.

Although the actual lieu-dit site measures 3.6 hectares (8.9 acres), the 0.8 hectare (1.9 acre) "Les Grands Murs" ("the tall walls") vineyard which borders it to the east is also included in Les Feusselottes bringing its total vineyard area to around 4.4 hectares (10.8 acres). Beyond Les Grands Murs lies the prized Les Charmes Premier Cru vineyard and Les Chatelots is just north of Feusselottes itself.

Over the road to the south is the basic, village-level climat of Les Pats de Chat ("the cat's steps") and west, between Feusselottes and the houses of Chambolle, are small plots of Chambolle-Musigny Le Village - also village-level.
