Opaque purple in color with a bright, floral nose of boysenberries. Sourced from a single vineyard of 18 year old vines, vinified in steel and treated to a brief “nap” in new oak (avg 2 weeks!), the wine is a youthful, easy-to-drink, food-friendly version of Malbec, showing more in common with Cot from France’s Loire valley than the suave Argentine style or tannic model from Cahors.
