Made from a mash of malted and unmalted barley and then triple distilled in copper pot stills, Redbreast 12 year old cask strength boasts the flavour complexity and distinctive qualities of Pot Still whiskey.
Cask Strength, Single Pot Still, non-chill filtered. Doesn't get better than that!!
- Nose: Festive spices, orange peel, mint leaf, and a good whack of old sherry.
- Palate: Fruity notes come to the fore in the shape of damson, sultana, pineapple, and more orange. It's supported by layers of vanilla, honeycomb, and a whisper of coffee.
- Finish: Stewed berries, coffee again, and diced almonds.
