This cask strength version plunges us deep into the heart of Warehouse H, where Blanton's casks are matured, soaking up the flavours of new oak, vanilla and polish that reign there. This makes it very expressive and packed with the ingredients that built the reputation of this single barrel bourbon, which is to say, multi-dimensional fruit, wonderfully unctuous chocolate flavours, and spicy notes that bring lots of heat to the palette of aromas and flavours.

Profile: the delicate initial nose wavers between black fruit (blueberry) and exotic fruit. Allowed to breathe, oak aromas bring a warehouse to mind. Notes of rhubarb and cocoa then appear. The fresh attack is characterized by quince jelly and juicy mango. The mid-palate reveals liquorice, tar and spice. The smooth finish is also very fruity (guava, pecan nut). Exclusive to LMDW.
