A man on a mission, Guillaume Sergent farms his tiny 1.5 hectare estate like a Lone Ranger with no Tonto. His knowledge of his vines and his closeness to the terroir of Montagne de Reims. While this is non-vintage bubbly, it is all 2013 base wine and all Chardonnay. The tiny dosage of 4 grams per liter keeps it razor sharp and focused but still with some palate presence allowing the fruit to shine. Pear fruit, sea salt, minerals and a fresh lemon zest note make the long finishing and clean wine a masterful glass to enjoy. F'get the celebratory uses...this is what you want to drink with food!
