The 2008 Meursault from Coche Dury is a really flamboyant and bold wine. On the nose a fine minerality, fresh vibrant acidity, hay, and a slight note of popcorn and gun powder. On the palate quite luch and juicy fruit, wonderfully balanced by the playful 2008 acidity. Not the most refined and complex wine, but my god it’s charming and joyful.
