One of the best representatives of Spanish sparkling wine is the Gramona Celler Batlle Gran Reserva Brut. Made in Sant Sadurní by an authentic family winery with only a focus on quality. This is a sparkling Cava top that leaves many significantly more expensive Champagnes behind in terms of quality and price. Absolute top quality as you would expect from the house Gramona. Celler Batlle is pronounced as Ceh-jer Bai-je. The cuvée is named after the old cellar in Sant Sadurni d'Anoia, which in itself takes its name from the Batlle family, who founded Gramona. Celler Batlle can compete with a large year of Champagnes.
The Gramona Celler Batlle Gran Reserva Brut is a blend of macabeo 25% and xarel.lo 75%. It is a very refined, mildly dry wine with a fine, dosed mousse. Pleasantly developed in taste due to the long bearing 'sur latte'. Show candied fruit, blossom, chamomile, butter and soft bread and toast. A complex set of scents and flavors.
