It offers both a smashing package (a heavy, expensive bottle and a poster-quality, artsy label) and terrific wine. Nearly opaque purple-colored, it possesses gobs of pure, persuasive, and intense blackberry and cassis fruit. Full-bodied, with a voluptuously-textured, rich, layered feel in the mouth, this large-scaled, impressively-endowed tribute to such French Syrah/Cabernet blends as the renowned Domaine Trevallon in Provence, can be drunk now or cellared for 10-12 years.
